Potosí 4 Reales Silver Cob with Atocha Recovery Label

$845

An irregular silver 4 reales with a deeply weathered appearance, this Potosí cob is accompanied by a label marked Atocha 1985. The label records a weight of 7.4 g. Heavy corrosion and surface loss have left a distinctive outline and fragments of the original design. Approximately 28.8 mm across the photographed span. Ungraded. The Atocha attribution is based on the accompanying label; the full inventory number remains unconfirmed. You receive the individual coin with the protective packaging and label shown. Coin only; no pendant frame or chain.
